Positions for Academic Year 2008 - 2009

Student positions provide financial aid and work experience for students pursuing bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees at Indiana University - Bloomington

All qualified students are encouraged to apply.

Terms of Appointments

All positions are for ten months or one academic year; August through May. Positions are renewable for up to four years. Hours range from 15 to 20 per week. In addition, graduate employees are awarded fee remissions; 12 credits per semester (fall, spring) and 6 credits summer semester. Further, graduate hourly positions are possible.

General Requirements for Holding Student Positions
    • Full-time enrollment in a degree program on the Bloomington campus (New students may apply prior to acceptance to the University; however, acceptance must be confirmed before appointments are awarded.)
