Application Information

The deadline for receipt of domestic applications and supporting documents is January 15, 2008; the deadline for foreign applications is December 1, 2007.

The graduate admissions committee considers all parts of the application in making its decision and no one item is necessarily more important than any of the others. The following materials are required for complete applications:

  • Application Form and Fee (online)
  • Personal Statement of 700 words
  • Three Letters of Recommendation (form available here)
  • Writing Sample
  • Transcripts from all colleges attended
  • Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Scores
  • TOEFL Scores (for foreign applicants, only)

Please note that the application form and fee must be submitted online. With the exception of university transcripts, all application materials, including writing samples, letters of recommendation, and your statement of purpose should be submitted online. Official transcripts should be addressed and mailed to:
