Outstanding students in the Department can opt to undertake research or creative projects in order to earn distinction in the field. Students work closely with departmental faculty in directed readings or research and participate in courses reserved for honors students. Lambda Pi Eta is the National Communication Honor Society, affiliated with the National Communication Association. Participating in LPE provides students in the Department with the opportunity to become more actively involved with faculty, alumni, and with other students. Click here for more information.
The flexible degree requirements of the Department allow CMCL majors to double major in a wide variety of disciplines. Contact one of our Undergraduate Advisors for more information on expanding your studies with or beyond communication and culture.
