Professor J. Jose Bonner, Department of Biology, received an award from the National Science Foundation for his work on Regulation of the Heat Shock Response in Yeast.

Professor Robert Goldstone, Gill Fellow in Psychology, received an award from the National Science Foundation for ROLE: Facilitating the Understanding of Complex Adaptive Systems Through Computer Simulations.

Professor Roger Hangarter, Department of Biology, has received from the U.S. Department of Energy an award for his work on Regulation of Plastid Development during Embryo Maturation and Germination.

Professor Michael Lynch, Department of Biology, has received from the National Science Foundation an award for his work on Dominance and Epistasis of New Mutations Affecting Fitness in Zebrafish.

Professor William Snow, Department of Physics, received an award for his work on the Development of a Current-Mode CsI Gamma Detector Array for Precision Weak Interaction Experiments from the National Science Foundation.

Professor Steven Vigdor , Department of Physics, received an award from the National Science Foundation for his Proposal to Instrument an Endcap Electromagnetic Calorimeter for Physics with the Star Detector at RHIC.
