ACTIONS
Approved proposal from Individualized Major Program.
  1. An IMP student with interdisciplinary interests that fall largely outside the College will be allowed to petition his or her IMP faculty committee for an exception not to exceed the maximum specified below:
    • To be allowed to count up to 62 credit hours in the IMP major, and no more than 40 hours outside the College. A minimum of 15 credit hours in the major must be College courses. The 40 outside hours would include the 22 outside hours allowed all College students.
    • The Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education will conduct an audit on conferred IMP exceptions every three years.
  2. Approved proposal for changes to undergraduate major and minor in Comparative Literature. These changes simplify the programs in Comparative Literature and will be published in the 2003 Supplement to the Bulletin.
