Indira Dammu, class of 2009, is majoring in Political Science with a minor in philosophy. A student in the Hutton Honors College, she is also working towards the completion of the Liberal Arts and Management Program Certificate.
Indira currently serves as the Vice President for the Indiana University Women’s Student Association. She has previously helped organize events like Love your Body Day and the annual Take Back the Night rally. She is actively involved in Multicultural Outreach Recruitment Educators or M.O.R.E, a student organization based out of the Office of Admissions that is dedicated to increasing minority enrollment on campus. Indira also writes an opinion column for the Indiana Daily Student.
Indira loves the New York Times, fruitcake and Ralph Nader, not necessarily in that order.
