"Your Career in East Asia" Series

It is never too early to begin thinking about your career! The "Your Career in East Asia" series is an ongoing program of lectures and Q&A sessions organized by the department dedicated to introducing EALC students to top-flight professionals involved in a variety of careers related to East Asia. Guest speakers provide in-depth information about how they obtained their positions and what their jobs actually entail. And critically, they emphasize what skills and tools that they developed in college are most suited to their careers. Unless specified, sessions are typically held in the Goodbody Hall Lounge (Goodbody Room 201).

Previous Guests

  • Bruce Donahue, U.S. State Department, November 14, 2002
  • Anthony Kuhn, Beijing correspondent of the Los Angeles Times, October 2, 2002
