"Early Stone Age Investigations in Northern China: Collaborative Research in the Nihewan Basin"

Professors of Anthropology and Co-Directors of CRAFT (Center for Research into the Anthropological Foundations of Technology), Indiana University, and Co-Directors of the Stone Age Research Institute, Schick and Toth are Palaeolithic archaeologists and paleoanthropologists who have concentrated on the Early Stone Age of Africa, Asia, and Europe. They have been members of the first collaborative archaeological excavations in China since the 1930's to involve foreign researchers and Chinese scientists.
