Greg Waller, who has just moved to IU from the University of Kentucky, is both a professor in and Chair of the Department of Communication and Culture. His research includes work in the social and cultural history of film in America and an ongoing project entitled Japan-in-America, which looks at representations of Japan across a range of cultural channels and media in the US between 1890-1915.
