The Guojian Story in Twentieth-Century China"

 


Paul A. Cohen is Edith Stix Wasserman Professor of Asian Studies and History, Emeritus, Wellesley College and an Associate at the Fairbank Center for East Asian Research at Harvard University. He is one of the world's leading scholars for modern Chinese cultural history and has also published extensively on general questions of historical method. His most recent books are prize-winning study of the Boxers, History in Three Keys, and a collection of essays entitled China Unbound: Evolving Perspectives on the Chinese Past, which was published by Routledge.
