Teaching East Asian Art in the Elementary School

The East Asian Studies Center is teaming up with the Institute for Education on Japan at Earlham College and the Indianapolis Museum of Art to host a workshop for elementary teachers interested in bringing East Asian art into the classroom.

"Teaching East Asian Art in the Elementary School," will be held at the Indianapolis Museum of Art on March 6. The day-long workshop will feature practical ideas and activities for teaching the arts of East Asia. Educators also will have the opportunity to tour the museum's extensive Asian collection as well as IMA's new Jane S. Dutton Educational Resource Center.
