Welcome to the Teaching about Asia Seminar 2008!
(This packet of materials will also be distributed on the first night of class. Please review it before you register!)
Based on feedback from past participants, we at the Indiana University East Asian Studies Center anticipate that you’ll not only enjoy participating in the seminar as a student, but that you’ll leave inspired and prepared to teach more about East Asia in your classrooms. In order for the seminar and its follow-up components to run as smoothly as possible, we ask your help with the administrative details. Following are a timeline, explanation of program details, and set of forms. By supplying you with these materials, we want to make it clear what is expected from you as participants and what you can expect from us as the administrators of the program. Please let us know if any of the information is unclear or you have additional questions.
