As
part of her commitment to public critique and activism, Professor
Pezzullo serves
as the first Praxis Co-Editor (with
Steve Schwarze) for the new journal,
Environmental
Communication: A Journal of Nature and Culture.
The
Environmental
Communication Network is a community
of academic scholars and professional practitioners committed:
(1) to the belief that natural and symbolic systems are mutually
constituted and
(2) to the goal of creating a more sustainable and just world
through communication.
In Fall 2007, Prof. Pezzullo was featured in an interview
by Trudy Milburn.
Prof.
Pezzullo serves as a Commissioner on her local City of Bloomington's
Environmental Commission (10/06-01/10).
Prof.
Pezzullo supports the Indiana
University Sustainability Task Force,
the Indiana
University Environmental
Literacy & Sustainability Initiative,
and Bloomington's Boxcar
Books & Community Center.
Professor Pezzzullo also serves as an Advisor to the national
Sierra Club's
Environmental Justice Committee. Below
