Gender Studies Conference Presenters
- This year the IU Gender Studies Program will show unprecidented representation at the annual National Women's Studies Association conference, June 19-22, 2008 in
Cincinnati, Ohio. This year's theme "Resisting Hegemonies: Race and Sexual Politics
in Nation, Region, Empire" is explored by the work of presenters: Cierra Olivia Thomas-Williams, Bradley Lane, Joselyn Leimbach, and Yu-Ying Hu, Stacy Weida, Jessica Wall, Aimee Shand, Laura Harrison, Sarah Rowley, and Dr. Lessie Jo Frazier.

- On October, 23, 2007, join us for an evening with Bettina Aptheker, professor of feminist studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz and the author of the acclaimed memoir, Intimate Politics: How I Grew Up Red, Fought for Free Speech, and Became a Feminist Rebel.
