Student Quotes.....

Capitol Forum made me think of a lot of important issues and make decisions about internationally recognized problems.

Yes, I believe it has given me a better appreciation for current issues and the value of having an educated opinion.

The impact this experience has made for me will be permanent. I will definitely look more into what are my issues and as an 18 year old I will be able to vote in a more intelligent manner in the future.

I think the things I researched and learned while preparing for CFI and at CFI will benefit me later in life. All of the issues discussed are relevant to today and to the future.

As a voter I am more conscious of the ills facing our world and knowing at least a person who can change it.

Now I know my vote will count.

I think the Capitol Forum has changed my thinking as a citizen and a voter and it has showed me the benefits of being well-informed and having our own opinions.

Yes. The way I view the opposing side is completely reformed. I now can understand where they come from now they see the world, what they look for. And knowing that, it makes its easier for me to fight for my beliefs. The practice of voicing my opinion and having it taken into consideration definitely boosts my confidence and makes me want to speak out more often. It also makes me more open minded, to hear all views before choosing one.

The forum has broadened my horizons. It has provided me with an urge to understand politics and express my political views through voting and participating in decisions for our country.
