Cost estimates for undergraduate students are based on a full-time enrollment of 12 to 17 credit hours per semester. Estimates for graduate students are based on a full-time enrollment of 9 credit hours per semester.

Indiana Residency Status Rules: Physical presence at Indiana University does not guarantee Indiana state resident classification. Indiana residency status for individuals under 21 years of age is determined by the parent's state of residence. Individuals 21 and older who are entering Indiana from other states or countries for the purpose of pursuing their education at Indiana University will NOT be granted Indiana residency status. Additional fees: Distance education courses require an additional $25 per credit hour distance education technology fee. Some courses require course related fees in addition to credit hour rates. These fees cover incidental costs such as materials and transportation. For more detailed information regarding fees, please visit the IU Bursar Web site.
