I enjoy investigating how sport collides with the larger society and how that collision influences fan perception, consumption, constraint, and attitudes.

What do you think are some benefits of attending a diverse college campus?

It provides an opportunity to learn from those outside of your immediate community. A truly diverse campus should allow willing participants to reshape preconceived notions and hopefully learn to see people as individual representatives of their community, culture and ethnic background.  The “willing participant” component is crucially important in order for us to achieve an earnest level of respect for others.
