WORKSHOP LOCATION
The Spatial Regression Analysis workshop will be held in the
Department of Political Science (Woodburn Hall) on the Bloomington
campus of Indiana University. Woodburn Hall is within comfortable
walking distance of downtown Bloomington; it is a moderate walk or short
bus ride from Willkie Hall where some workshop participants may choose
to stay (see below). Coffee, tea, juice, and breakfast pastries will be
available to workshop participants each morning beginning at 8:30 a.m.
There will also be an evening reception on the second day of the
workshop.
The IU-Bloomington campus is a careful blend of traditional and modern
architecture within a park-like environment. Made of locally quarried
limestone, the University buildings add beauty to the scenic campus.
Bloomington offers the charm of a small town and the sophistication of a
cultural capital with international caliber performance in opera, music
and theater. Local restaurants include an impressive array of ethnic
cuisines, many within comfortable walking distance of campus.
