Housing

Apply for Housing Now

If you are required to live on campus (review our residency requirement for more information) or are interested in living on campus, we encourage you to submit your housing contract as soon as you have been admitted to Indiana University.  You can also complete the contact/application process on-line.

Read through the Find Your Place, Guide to Learning Communities & Housing at Indiana University that was included with your admission letter and packet. Your housing assignment will be given priority based on the date your preferences are received. Submitting your contract sooner rather than later is important if you have a preference for learning community, neighborhood, roommate, or room type.

Please note that while there is a deposit required when submitting the contract, all but $100 is refundable in the event that you choose not to accept IU's offer of admission and notify the RPS Assignments Office prior to July 1.

Submitting your housing contract now does not commit you to attend IU. However, submitting it as soon as possible does increase the likelihood that you will receive your requested housing preference(s) should you decide to attend IU.

Questions regarding housing should be directed to Residential Programs and Services at housing@indiana.edu.
