For
over eighty years, the JAH, published by the
Organization of American Historians, has been the leading scholarly

We invite you to use “Recent Scholarship Online,” a service available exclusively to OAH individual members. You may sign up for personalized e-mail updates, as well as create, save, and e-mail custom online bibliographies. We have also redesigned the search interface, adding new options such as “find more like this.”
In
January 2000, the full text of current issues of the Journal of American
History became available online for the first time at the
History Cooperative. Access to journal content is limited to individual
members of the Organization
of American Historians and to institutions that subscribe to the print
