July 2007: Xin Yan joined us as a graduate student. Welcome, Xin!
Aug. 3, 2007: Prof. Li was invited to present our work on voltage-sensitive dyes at the Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole, MA.
Sept. 20, 2007: The first paper of our group is published in Nano Letters (PDF). This paper outlines our strategy to make brighter, more sensitive voltage-sensitive dyes by harnessing nanoscale electron transfer.
Oct. 14, 2007: Prof. Li was invited to present our work on voltage-sensitive dyes at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
Oct. 18, 2007: We moved into the new multi-disciplinary building, Simon Hall.
Nov. 29, 2007: We received CAREER award from the National Science Foundation for our work on voltage-sensitive dyes.
Dec. 7, 2007: We received Petroleum Research Fund from the American Chemical Society for our work on organic solar cells.
