Awards

The NELC Department offers a number of awards to its students throughout the academic year. The following awards were given to outstanding NELC Graduate Students for the 2008 academic year:

  • Maryah Converse received the Amel Amin Zaki Award at the 2008 spring reception.
  • Walter Lorenz received the Rasoul M. Istrabadi Memorial Award at the 2008 spring reception.
  • Ahmad Al-Mallah received the Best Departmental Arabic AI Award at the 2008 spring reception.
