Teaching at the Preserve
Large numbers of students use natural lands as part of their coursework. These field-based courses are largely in the natural sciences and include courses in areas such as ecology, evolution, botany, zoology, mycology, climatology, geology, limnology and field techniques. The preserve is utilized annually by several Biology, Geography, Geological Sciences, HPER and SPEA courses for field-based exercises.
If you are interested in using the preserve for teaching
activities, please fill out a Teaching
Activity Form.
The Dean of Faculties Office will provide a $6,000
grant for course development focused on the preserve.
