Infant Black-and-White Colobus Monkey

SAMPLE:  Infant B-&-W Colobus vocalization
(coming)

FEATURE:   Infant Black-and-White Colobus are born all white, gradually attaining their distinctive adult markings after the age of 5 weeks. White infants are of great interest to the females in the group, who frequently take the infant from it's mother to hold for a while; this is called «aunting behavior» This behavior is very different from red colobus mothers, who rarely let their infants be handled by others.
