Club Membership

Indiana University Racquetball Club is open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. In other words, anyone can join. There is no limit on how many members the club can hold. It does not matter if you are a beginner or advanced player, we are open to anyone with an interest in playing racquetball. We have simple rules that we ask you follow, but the main aspect of the club is to have fun. If you are interested in joining please e-mail the Club @ racquetb at indiana.edu

Club Goal

The goal of the Indiana University Racquetball Club is to promote the sport of racquetball in the IU community through workshops, clinics, a shared website, newsletter, bulletin board, tournaments, challenge courts, and an IUB tournament team

Club Features

The Indiana University Racquetball Club offers the following features:

Monthly Workshops

• These in-class workshops will focus on court strategies, positioning, serving techniques, shot selection, types of shots, rules, etc.
• They will serve as a social arena for players to meet other players
• Equipment can be discussed and orders placed during this time
• Demos can be scheduled
• Lessons can be scheduled

Bi-Yearly Clinics

• Once per semester on a Saturday the club will conduct clinics aimed to improve the on-court skills of the participants: proper swing, practice drills, serving technique, etc.
• The clinic participants will be trained by racquetball club tournament team members and other solid players.

Bi-Yearly Tournaments

• One semester, will include a state collegiate tournament
• One semestter will have a Big Ten tournament

A Tournament Team

• A group of IUB players that travel together to tournaments
• The tournament team will be used to help instruct other players
• Any skill level can be on the team

3. Games are played to 15, best of out 3 games. If match is tied, play to 11.
4. If ball Hits Nets, lights, or Door Handle, play the point over.
5. Basically, play for safety and sportsmanship.

SRSC and HPER Courts. Call to make reservations up to 24 hours ahead.
