as well as provides instructions, materials, evaluation tools and checklists.
Bully Proofing Your School: A Comprehensive Approach for Elementary
Schools describes a comprehensive prevention program designed to stop
bullying among elementary school students. It outlines staff training
and classroom interventions.
No Bullying is a program geared at teaching elementary and middle
school students and staff how to appropriately deal with aggressive students
who do not play fair.
Peace Talks: Dealing with Bullies, Troublemakers and Dangerous
Situations (video + discussion manual) provides suggestions on what students
can do when they are afraid, as well as how they can protect themselves
in threatening situations.
Set Straight on Bullies (video + guide) provides educators with
an examination of the myth and realities of schoolyard bullying and changing
attitudes about its seriousness. It also examines the characteristics
of bullies and victims, and provides strategies for educators, parents,
and students to better prevent and respond to schoolyard bullying. Program
is geared towards grades K-9.
Online ResourceBully Beware Productions produces videos, posters, and books for
students and teachers on taking action against bullying. Bullying OnLine website provides insight and information on al
types of bullying including child bullying, bullying in schools, and bullying
by adults.
Committee for Children provides links to information on bullying. Eric/CASS Virtual Library: Bullying in Schools provides articles on bullying as well as helpful resources on bullying. Telecom Police Stop Bullying Campaign website provides information
