Make your gift to the Department of Spanish and Portuguese.

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese stays actively in touch with its former students from both the undergraduate (B.A.) and graduate (M.A., M.A.T., Ph.D.) programs. The accomplishments of our alumni are a source of pride, and the best possible advertisement for what we do; further, our graduates who are now teachers or professors of Spanish play an important role in directing new students our way. We send our annual newsletter, La Gaceta Internacional, each December to friends of the department. Through articles and photographs, it informs readers about all our activities for the year, and provides space for alumni news.

Many former students have been generous in their financial contributions to Spanish and Portuguese, and the funds they have provided allow us to provide modest undergraduate scholarships, and to help graduate students pursue their dissertation research.

If you hold a degree in Spanish or Portuguese from Indiana University and have not been in contact with the department, we hope to hear from you.
