TICKET POLICY
The Indiana University Auditorium provides ticketing service for the Department of Theatre and Drama and the Brown County Playhouse. The Brown County Playhouse also operates a box office in Nashville. Questions about ticket availability should be directed to the IU Auditorium box office at 855-1103 or Brown County Playhouse at 988-2123 (in season only).
- A few snippets of ticket information:
- PLAN AHEAD AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS. Don’t wait for the second weekend to see our shows. Especially in the Wells-Metz Theatre, we frequently sell out the final two performances. Don’t be one of the students in line at the last minute wondering how you will write that paper.
- Student Subscriptions are available through the run of The Birthday Party.
- Full Season student subscriptions are just $80.
- You can also buy a subscription to either the Ruth N. Halls Theatre or the Wells-Metz Theatre, but make your plans today to support your friends all season long. If you get cast, give your tickets to a friend, starving artist, or a complete stranger. We like new audiences.
- FLEX PASSES are on sale through April 21, 2007. Please see the brochure for details about how flex passes work.
- Opening Night Special: for being enrolled in any class in the Department of Theatre and Drama, you are eligible to purchase a ticket to opening night of any of our productions for just $5. Remember, this is based on availability, so when you receive information in class about this great benefit, act quickly.
- Student Rush tickets are available beginning 30 minutes prior to any performance. Any student may purchase a student rush ticket for $10 cash with a valid IU ID. Remember, these tickets are subject to availability. If a performance sells out, there will be no rush tickets sold.
- Single tickets for students are just $13 (regular price $15) or $14 (regular price $17) for musicals. Please note that this benefit is only valid for Monday through Thursday performances only. If you buy a subscription you will get a ticket to any performance for the price of a student rush ticket.
- No complimentary tickets are available for participation in production.
- Each production will have a limited number of tickets put on hold for members of the production to purchase. Because these holds will be put in place after subscriptions are filled, some performances will not be available. These tickets will be released for general sale three weeks prior to the opening of the show.
