Gloria Muzio, Director

In 1996, Gloria Muzio was invited to Indiana University as part of the continuing Ralph L. Collins Memorial Lecture Series. During her visit she gave two lectures entitled Other Peoples Money: Making of an Off-Broadway Hit and Directing and Developing New Plays vs. Directing Classics.

Gloria Muzio is a free-lance director based in New York City. Notable among her productions are Kathleen Tolans Approximating Mother (1991) at the Judith Anderson Theatre and Marsha Normans Loving Daniel Boone at the Actors Theatre of Louisvilles 1991-92 Humana Festival. On Broadway at the Roundabout Theatre she directed Candida, the 1993 revival of Tom Stoppards Fifteen Minute Hamlet and The Real Inspector Hound and The Plays the Thing by Molnar. She is a member pf the Executive Board of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers. She was awarded the Joe A. Callaway Award and nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award for her direction of Other Peoples Money.
