Trish has been the House Manager at IU since 2005. Most of Trish's previous work before coming to IU has been as a stage manager for new plays, including the world premiere of Chen Shi-Zheng's retelling of a classic Chinese opera, The Peach Blossom Fan , produced at the REDCAT in Los Angeles. Also at the REDCAT, Trish was the production manager for Invisible Glass, a multimedia puppetry piece directed by Janie Gaiser, written by Erik Ehn, and based on a short story by Edgar Allen Poe. As a stage manager, she spent two summers in the mountains of Utah at the Sundance Theatre Lab, Robert Redford's playwrights' paradise. There, Trish was the workshop stage manager for Stew's Passing Strange, which won the 2008 New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical and was nominated for 7 Tony Awards. She has also been a stage manager at the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, the star of the new documentary Shakespeare Behind Bars. She is no stranger to house managing, having spent 4 years as a house manager at Miller Auditorium, the third largest auditorium in Michigan. Trish has also been behind the scenes at theatres as varied as Hope Summer Repertory Theatre in Holland, Michigan and the Edgemar Theatre in Santa Monica, California.
