Minutes are taken at each Board of Trustees' business meeting, as mandated by state law. Each meeting is tape-recorded, and a verbatim transcript is prepared in the weeks following the session. The transcript is then edited and presented to Trustees for approval at the next meeting. Once approved, they are posted on the web. Each set of minutes includes at least one Administrative Action Reports.
Minutes are neither distributed nor posted before they have been approved by Trustees. Although every effort is made to post the minutes to the web as quickly as possible, it's a time-consuming process. Your patience is appreciated.
The Board of Trustees and University Archives are engaged in a project to put all existing minutes on the web. Currently, the minutes from 1974 onward are available at:
