New Turnitin features were added that allow Instructors to bulk download multiple papers for an assignment from their assignment inbox in .zip format. In addition, the character upload for submissions has been increased from 150,000 to 1 million characters. This change lets users submit longer papers including most theses.

March 23
Turnitin has added Flash movies tutorials for instructors and students on how to get stared using Turnitin. Links to these and other movies are provided in the left column under "USING TURNITIN" for instructors and students.

The Bloomington Faculty Council overwhelmingly approved a resolution Tuesday for a three-year renewal of IU's subscription to the plagiarism-detection service Turnitin.com.
