Outreach to post-secondary schools takes place through both on-going programming and special initiatives. E-mail west@indiana.edu for information about the WEST Lecture & Film Series, workshops, and conferences.

Business Outreach

WEST maintains an ongoing relationship with local businesses and IU's Center for International Business Education and Research. Former WEST Director David Audretsch worked with the Hudson Institute and the German Marshall Fund to sponsor a conference on "The Future of Manufacturing in the US and Europe."

  • Europages Directory
    The European Business Directory to search for, find and contact over 500,000 companies selected in 33 European countries.
  • Institute for Development Strategies
    IDS is an inter-disciplinary research program focusing on the promotion of economic development at the city, regional, national and international levels. A particular focus of the Institute is on the links between globalization, entrepreneurship, and the strategic management of regions to promote economic development.
  • IU's International Resource Center
    The IUIRC will work with businesses to make sure that they are prepared for today's international environment, and will help you gain access to numerous opportunities by bringing IU's diverse international resources to the table. Services include interpretation/translation, immigration statistics, and facts on employing internationals.
