Credit Options

Two hours of graduate credit (English W610 at IU) or undergraduate credit (English W410 at IU) may be obtained by participating in any of the week-long workshops. Conferees choosing to enroll for credit will be registered by the conference at in-state rates, but will owe tuition for two hours of credit and unremittable fees directly to the Indiana University Office of the Bursar. For 2008, undergraduates will pay $179.70/credit hour, and graduates will pay $204.50/credit hour. The unremittable fees amount to approximately $20.50/credit hour for both undergraduates and graduates. These sums are in excess of conference enrollment fees, which are payable directly to IUWC.

Non-IU undergraduates must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program to obtain transfer credit.

If you wish to obtain credit, complete the appropriate section of the application form. During the conference, your manuscript will be critiqued by the workshop teacher.Your grade will be based on the revision of the manuscript you submit for admission to the workshop. Your revision and original copy of your manuscript must be submitted to the IUWC by August 1.
