Anne-Marie Oomen
ANNE-MARIE OOMEN is an instructor of Playwriting and Poetry at the Interlochen Arts Academy. She is the author of Pulling Down the Barn a collection of essays (Wayne State University Press). She is the founding Editor of Dunes Review, a regional literary magazine and also the editor of Looking Over My Shoulder: Reflections on the Twentieth Century, an anthology of older adult writings. Her work has been published in literary magazines and anthologies throughout the country, most recently in New Poems of the Third Coast: Contemporary Michigan Poetry. She has received an NEH study grant and several literary grants from MCACA and MCH. She is the author of two chapbooks of poetry, Moniker and Seasons of the Sleeping Bear and her plays have been produced in St. Louis, Iowa City, Chicago and Traverse City.
