10/24 – Jill Behrman 5K Run/Walk
Asian American Association has a group for the Jill Behrman race this year that will take place at 10am. The registration fee is $20 and goes to a great cause! Anyone interested in participating can register online at https://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?fid=FW2V4K7, or can bill it to their BURSAR account by going to the RecSports office in HPER or the SRSC. The early registration deadline is October 11th. After, October 11th you may register for $25—you can participate with the team but will need to pick up your own registration packet.

10/25 – Multicultural Wedding @ 5:30pm
Sparked by an idea from the Hillel Center, there will be a “Multicultural Wedding” at the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center with a reception to follow.  The idea of the wedding is to take wedding traditions of each of the groups (Jewish, African American, Near Eastern, Episcopal, etc.) involved in the event, and put them into one big wedding.  The Asian Cultural Center is going to be represented with a Chinese wedding tradition and is searching for volunteers! There are going to be 2 rehearsals (one is on a Sunday) for the event, plus one dress rehearsal on the day of the event. If you are interested in participating, please contact Priscilla Hung at .
