The performing ensembles of the African American Arts Institute travel throughout the state of Indiana and the country offering performances and lecture-demonstrations for schools, churches, community and civic organizations, conventions, nightclubs, concert halls, and other contexts. You and the Performance Manager will agree on a tentative date and discuss the preliminary details of the engagement.
The Performance Manager will contact you to discuss performance rates.
You will receive a confirmation letter and/or contract. Please return the signed contract as soon as possible. ENGAGEMENTS ARE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE CONFIRMED UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED A SIGNED CONTRACT OR CONFIRMATION LETTER. The Institute requires that all engagements be confirmed no less than 30 days prior to the event.
No publicity mentioning AAAI’s ensembles’ involvement should go out until written confirmation is completed.
We respectfully request copies of all posters, flyers, press releases, news articles, ads, and other publicity materials distributed regarding the engagement.
Members of our staff (Performance Manager, Technical Supervisor, and Road Manager) may be in touch with you to confirm details of the event, or answer any questions you may have.
