Moya Andrews, Dean of the Faculties, on issues of Non-tenure-track faculty appointments

Our fall meeting is during the week that national AAUP has named “Campus Equity Week.”  The focus is on non-tenure track appointees and the intent is to “publicize the overuse and abuse of contingent faculty and its impact on the future the quality of higher education.”  -- Issues central to the new IU classification and its implementation.  Moya Andrews, Dean of the Faculties and chapter member, will speak with us about issues of non-tenure-track faculty appointments and the implementation of the new BFC/UFC classification of faculty appointments.
