Development of behavior is the guiding theme of the Alberts Lab. We follow a variety of analytic paths and use a wide array of tools, but the questions asked in this lab converge on the development of species-typical behavior in rodents.
Our work is often inspired by the traditions and approaches of ethology, animal behavior, behavioral embryology, physiological ecology, behavioral neuroscience, and computational modeling.
