Alvarez and Marsal LLC is currently a major player in the turnaround management consulting industry, and is visiting IU to speak about the circumstances dictating the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy claim and to promote their organization.
Alvarez and Marsal representatives place emphasis on the fact that their visit is strictly for promotional purposes and that it should not be confused with a resume submitting session. However, they do in fact feel comfortable with referring to this event as a networking session.
