Student Assistants

Sarah Moon, Graduate Assistant

I am a fourth-year doctoral student studying organ performance in the Jacobs School of Music. I grew up in Toledo, Ohio and completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Oberlin Conservatory. I would eventually like to teach music at the college level and continue playing for churches. I enjoy cooking, painting, traveling, kick-boxing, and discovering new places in Indiana.

Stephan Khensouri

I am a junior majoring in Dietetics and minoring in Japanese. I was born in Bloomington, Indiana, but I have lived in Columbus, Indiana all my life. I am involved with the Dietetics and Nutrition Science Club as the apparel coordinator. I love anything about food. Cooking, baking, or even just talking about it. I also like to run, play soccer, tennis, frisbee, and hide and and go seek in the dark. My plan is to attend graduate school for physician assistant.

Hallie Baumann

I am a junior from Kansas and New York, majoring in East Asian Language and Culture- Japanese. I am very involved in the theatre department at IU, do special effects makeup on the side, and think that ballroom dance is pretty shnazzy. I'm the henna artist here at the ACC and at many of the Cultural events around campus.

Justin Zheng

I am currently a Senior at IU as a pre-med student. My hobbies include Bboying and playing guitar, both of which I have been doing for six years. I have been a part of the ACC for 2 years.

Joe Eldridge

I am originally from Davao City, Philippines but my family currently resides in Fishers, IN. My current activities include being part of the ACC, Filipino Student Association, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, as well as being a 2nd year business major. My main interests include travelling, business, music, having fun, and meeting new people. If ou ever see me around the ACC or on campus introduce yourself to me. I am very easy to get along with and love when people help me enjoy or entertain one of my interests!

Laura Baumann

I am a senior this year attending Bloomington High School North. For one of my classes I chose to sign up for senior internship where I was able to choose a site of my choice and intern there for the year, so I picked the Asian Culture Center. So far it has been a blast meeting and working with different people, helping out with events and being apart of the excitement here at the ACC. I plan on attending Indiana University next year and hopefully being able to continue working here with the other wonderful staff members.

Lananh Ngo
I am a senior majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology and Art History. I am aspiring to become an optometrist and open my own practice or work in a clinic with other eye care specialists. Outside of school and the ACC, I like to travel, bake, read, and go shopping with friends and family.
