Dr. Catherine Tucker organized and chaired a panel for the Latin American Studies Association in September on “Natural Resource Management, Science and Spirituality: Intersections Shaping Latin America’s Environment” which won the School for Advanced Research (SAR) Session Prize for the outstanding panel on Nature, Science and Religion in Latin America. The award includes a SAR-sponsored workshop in Santa Fe with the session participants during Spring 2009.
