The Office of Affirmative Action uses institutional data to complete federal and state reports and write campus affirmative action plans for Indiana University, all of which are required activities because IU is a recipient of federal funds. We also use this data to help us benchmark our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
This data is provided to administrators, deans, and department heads to assist in setting affirmative action goals and hiring objectives within their areas. Others may request statistical data on Indiana University’s workforce by printing out and completing the Information Request and Conditions of Use Statement. Because some data is confidential, each request will be reviewed to ensure it is needed for a valid university-related purpose. In many cases, general data can be found in one of the reports below or at one of the data sources listed.
