Students interested in an Africa-focused master’s degree may obtain a free-standing master’s degree in African Studies or a dual/joint degree with Library and Information Science, Public and Environmental Affairs, or with Public Health. Students opting for a dual/joint degree must be admitted into African Studies and into the respective professional school.
Doctoral students in any discipline may complete a Ph.D. Minor in African Studies.
