Funding opportunities

Students are encouraged to seek financial assistance from their home institutions and other sources that might be available.

Possible funding sources include:

• Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS):
  Although the Indiana University FLAS deadline was March 1, we will continue to accept FLAS applications for SCALI.  They will be considered as funds become available. For further information, please inquire with your home institution or see our web site: FLAS

 

• Foreign Language Enhancement Program (FLEP):
  This program provides scholarships to graduate students at CIC institutions wishing to study a language that is not offered at their home university. FLEP fellowships are available only for study at another CIC institution. For further information, please consult FLEP
