Ignoisco Miles

Major: Theater and Drama
Minor: AAADS

Ignoisco Miles grew up in Indianapolis.  He spent most of his time as a child dreaming of his future as an actor and director. He has begun to realize that dream while at Indiana University, performing in show choir and plays he participated with.

As Ignoisco transitioned into college, he endured the divorce of his parents, homelessness, and the struggle of getting to college on his own.  Since he has come to IU, he has produced two original plays and has been a part of two other casts with JMuse Productionz, which he now serves as president.  Along with JMuse, Ignoisco has participated with Voices of Hope, MORE, Essence, Student Government executive board, the IU Soul Revue, a poetry group, and worked at Wright Food Court.

Now he stands a senior expecting to graduate in May with a BA in Theatre and a minor in African American and African Diaspora Studies.  After graduation he plans to move to California to begin his life as an actor while he works to produce his shows on a more professional stage.
