Gumbooters win award

The Bloomington Gumboot Dancers received one of the ADA awards for promoting diversity on the Bloomington campus. Several members of the AAADS community have participated in the group.



Founder Muzi Hadebe, a doctoral candidate in the Department of History, accepts the award from Patrick Smith, director of the Faculty and Staff for Excellence mentoring program.




The troupe of dancers perform one of their gumboot routines.
