Dr. Agnieszka Drobniak (Lambchop) has begun studying martial arts (ju-jitsu and karate shotokan) in 1991. She joined Krakow Aikikai (Poland) in 1998 and for 3 years she practiced aikido under the instruction of Dariusz Zieba Sensei (4 dan). She joined the Aikido Club at Indiana University in 2000 and became a student of Tim Sexton Sensei (2 dan), Laura Knudsen Sensei (1 dan), and Guy Haskell Sensei (5 dan).
She has received the shodan rank from Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan in May of 2005.

Agnieszka Drobniak holds her Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland, and currently has a research position at Coal and Industrial Minerals Section of Indiana Geological Survey.
