The Annotated Text Processor (ATP)

Back Custom Keyboards Next

ATP's Customized Keyboard Utility makes it possible to define keyboards for entering language data with complex orthographies. The keyboard utility can assign a special character or a string of characters to a particular keystroke. The user clicks on the special character to be assigned, or writes the string, and then clicks on the keystroke to make the assignment. It is possible to define an entire keyboard in just a matter of minutes.

The Keyboard Utility will be extended to support Unicode in the final stages of the NSF-funded ATP project this spring.
