Who we are

Altramar

What it means:

"Altramar," in the medieval language of Occitan, meant the lands "over the sea;" the place where Crusade and trade led to the rich cultural interchange of East and West.

What we do:

"Altramar shares historical repertoire as lived experience, weaving compelling performances out of the synthesis of song and story, voices and instruments."
